Three people were killed and three others were critically injured when a minivan they were in collided with a train at a crossing southeast of Chicago, police said Saturday.
The minivan's 36-year-old male driver, a 38-year-old female passenger and 10-year-old female juvenile passenger were pronounced dead at the scene in East Chicago, Ind., police said in a Facebook post. Caruthers Towing assisted in the cleanup of the crash.
